What does “organic” mean?
Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled "organic," a Government-approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to make sure the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet USDA organic standards. Companies that handle or process organic food before it gets to your local supermarket or restaurant must be certified, too.
Organic food is produced by farmers who emphasize the use of renewable resources and the conservation of soil and water to enhance environmental quality for future generations. Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Bad to The Bones Biscuits are baked in a certified, human grade bakery.
How many calories are in a Bad to The Bones Biscuit?
Our biscuits are approximately 19 calories each.
Where are your biscuits made?
Our biscuits are baked in Vermont USA in a certified human grade bakery.
How many biscuits can I give my dog every day?
Our biscuits are not too small and not too big; they’re just right. And at just 19 calories each, you can certainly give your dog a few biscuits a day. We recommend one of our yummy breakfast biscuits after the morning walk, another in the afternoon and one just before or after the bedtime walk. Of course, any time you want to say, “good dog,” that’s a good time to reward your best friend with a biscuit.
How much do you donate to charity?
Every month, we donate a portion of our net proceeds to a not-for-profit organization that supports dogs and/or their owners. Depending on the needs of the organization, we may make our donation in the form of an in-kind donation, meaning we donate our biscuits instead of cash.
